League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational

The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is the first international competition of the LoL Esports calendar. Representatives from the regional leagues battle it out for a shot at the MSI title. MSI is an opportunity to evaluate the teams and regions at the midway point of the season and foreshadows the work needed to claim a World Championship title.
